As a businessman in 1990, George W. Bush was deluged with confidential information about the financial plight of a Texas oil company before he sold the majority of his holdings and triggered a federal investigation, according to Securities and Exchange Commission records.
Stonewalling, this guy’s just as sleazy as Clinton and about half as smart. Of course, most conservatives will continue to pretend like Bush is beyond reproach. A bit hypocritical, no?
Insider trading happens all the time, but I’m glad someone besides a martha stewart is being investigated. Now if this controversy involved anyone else besides our Commander and Chief then the news would be all over the place. What a good role model for children and stock traders everywhere eh?
The sleaze of this administration certainly trumps that of the previous one, in my opinion! Pure utter bloodless evil, vs. cheesy Oval Office gropings … yeah, I know which one I’d settle for.
