American puppet attacked in Afghanistan

The US is having trouble protecting their stooge. Let’s hope the Afghans can regain their independence from American colonization. Remember how Bush said he wasn’t interested in ‘nation-building’ (ie. building pliant vassal states)? I guess that wasn’t exactly honest either.

Yahoo: Three killed in Karzai shooting incident; 30 killed in Kabul car blast


    ISLAMABAD (AFP) – Three suspected attackers were killed in a shooting incident around Afghan President Hamid Karzai, an official in the southern city of Kandahar told AFP by satellite phone.

    President George W. Bush expressed relief after being told that Afghan leader Hamid Karzai was safe after shots were fired near him.

    “The president was informed. He expressed his relief that President Karzai was safe. He is looking forward to meeting President Karzai in New York,” White House spokeswoman Claire Buchan told reporters.

  • BBC: Attack exposes Karzai’s weakness Ask yourself who this guy really represents when he has to hide from his own people protected by his American bodyguards. It’s a joke. As a reaction to the attack, his movements may be restricted further and he may be required to mostly stay put in his presidential office in Kabul under US protection. Pretty soon he’ll be the President of Afghanistan staying in the guest room of the Whitehouse.
